AWS Audit Manager for AWS Cloud to Integrate with TiGRIS
TalaTek risk-management solution to deliver automated risk and compliance service for AWS Cloud
Keeping track of compliance in the AWS Cloud just got easier. Today AWS announced its new Audit Manager service that enables organizations to track their compliance requirements is now available through TiGRIS, TalaTek’s risk-management platform. The new automated service captures and stores relevant data points to meet regulatory compliance in the AWS Cloud.
With this new option, AWS enterprises can use easily map their AWS usage to controls, save time with automated collection of evidence, be continually prepared to produce audit-ready reports and ensure assessment report and evidence integrity. Supported compliance frameworks include FISMA, CIS, PCI DSS, GDPR, GxP, SOC, HITRUST, HIPAA and FedRAMP, among others.
“AWS has been instrumental in allowing us to service our clients in new and efficient ways, advancing how we do business,” said TalaTek Founder and President Baan Alsinawi. “We are excited to continue working together to improve AWS Cloud risk management practices for enterprises.”
Enterprises using AWS Cloud services can now replace many of the manual evidence-collection tasks and use Audit Manager to automate the tasks of compiling and understanding audit data, reducing much of the time-consuming, tedious and inexact work and improving results. According to a recent AWS survey, only 20 percent of 50-plus customers have some automation to capture audit data. In addition, most governance, risk and compliance teams spend up to 60 percent of their time just collecting data.
TalaTek intelligent Governance and Risk Integrated Solution (TiGRIS) is designed to automate and simplify the GRC process for business and government, leveraging AWS’s well-architected framework. The managed software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering combines proven process with GRC experts and Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) authorized technology to deliver enhanced enterprise visibility and better control of risk.
TiGRIS meets FedRAMP’s security, authorization and continuous monitoring requirements set forth by the federal government for cloud service providers. This ensures appropriate levels of data privacy and predetermined security standards are met.
