Diane Weeks is a TalaTek Information Assurance consultant and Project Manager. She is C&A-certified and her background includes IT in the communications and publishing industries. Ms. Weeks extensive IT experience includes 26 years at the Washington Post working in the newsroom’s IT department as a liaison between the reporters and editors and the computer world. At The Post, Ms. Weeks did business continuity planning—vital to a 24/7 operation such as The Post—and managed the introduction and rollout of new software and hardware for the newsroom. Ms. Weeks’ duties at The Post included Technology and Administration Editor, Disaster Planning/Business Recovery planning, Newsroom representative on the Post’s IT Steering Committee, and Technology Training Editor. Ms. Weeks’ background with evaluating and introducing new technology has been an asset for her role at TalaTek, along with her in-depth experience working with multidisciplinary teams, as well as her exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills.
